On a more serious note, Danny probably isn’t the worst boyfriend somebody could have? Adding on to what T said a few days ago, Danny’s loyal. If you make friends with Danny, you’d better expect an awkward, anxious, self-righteous, extremely milquetoast dude. But Danny *does* care about his friends, and he *will* help them if they’re in a bad situation (even if they’re not named Sal). I think Danny’s problems mostly derive from his inability to balance loyalties. In other words, when two friends are fighting (literally or otherwise), he tries to satisfy both of them, which often backfires. Either he’s too anxious or he’s too afraid, but he doesn’t take a stand for himself or anyone else.
Which is to say, I can see *why* Billie and Sal are willing to fight over him, but it’s also important to note that Danny is far from perfect, and not really worth fighting over. Unless he gets a spine.
Danny is actually an abductee too, it’s just his superpower is to somehow inspire women to sacrifice their lives for him despite being objectively not worth it.
I feel like ‘she used to fight with Walky when they were kids’ isn’t really adequate preparation for keeping up in a brutal fight to the death with present day Sal.
She said she’s training in martial arts. Sal has enhanced strength, but I don’t think she’s had any real training in fighting, so she relies on brute strength, where Billie has learned to use an opponents strength against them; it’s how she’s avoided serious damage. (plus, I imagine Sal’s been pulling her punches anyway)
Also – Billie, you don’t even know what she’s here to talk to him ABOUT (IIRC). For all you know, they need to get statements for something or other. Calm the fuck down.
After accidentally locking myself out of my apartment building and buzzing absolutely everybody trying to find someone to let me back in, I discovered I am the only one here during the day. They all must have jobs or something.
Billie, no matter what training you’ve done you’re still not a match for Sal’s abductee strength. Also, this universe’s Danny is not worth fighting over.
I mean frankly even if they weren’t in a relationship, Billie fighting to keep Danny from backsliding into a teenager hanging out with his first girlfriend is a noble goal.
Sal, that’s not what they meant when they said “use the door”, and you know it.
She thinks she’s in an action movie, and that’s the sort of thing you do there.
b-but, wordplay. ;-;
you could replace him with a rock and it’d be a better boyfriend, heyooooo
(I’m kidding. Partly.)
or an actual ball and chain
Depends on the shape of the rock. And what Danny’s packing, I suppose. Must be something impressive to keep these women on the hook.
Onion Danny!

“Billie, I don’t even want to talk to Danny. I’m just here to sign that damn roommate agreement.”

Danny’s not worth fighting over.
He’s not even worth spilling your drink over.
Heh. I suddenly heard the sound bit of the drunk Russian sailor in the club during the Hong Kong section of the original Deus Ex: “I spill my drink!”
Where are the neighbours
Same place the neighbors were in that one scene from Pulp Fiction.

I’ve read enough superhero comics to know that if you know enough karate you can basically fight anything short of a god and win.
And if you train enough, you will become a god.
Is any universe’s Danny worth fighting over?
Dumbiverse Danny is a good egg?
I dunno if I’d want my girlfriend to sacrifice herself to keep the crazy batshit ex away.

Why are they fighting for Danny anyways
Really wishing Ruth was alive right about now.
