haha my brother just bought an ENORMOUS HOUSE for only himself and his cat, and I was joking that he can’t fit the cars INSIDE the house but I look at Ultra-Car and idk actually?
Well, if it’s a suburban McMansion, a lot of those are more garage than house. (I’ve never understood that urge. “Look at me! I own CARS!!!” It’s like, yeah, dude. You own a house. Owning a car or two isn’t that big a deal.)
On the other hand Leslie is directly responsible for the disintegration of the walls between reality and fiction, causing Soggies to invade their reality, but…
Enh. No one we KNOW died in the Soggening. Except maybe Pat Lee.
The soggies can’t have been that bad, we’ve seen most of the main cast appear in definitively post-Soggies comics, either flash-forwards or april fools. Either they were defeated or they turned out to be not all that bad
I mean, Sogmaster gets a statue. I’m assuming they looked at who other universes got for leadership and how it turned out, and decided that some soggy cereal was a pretty good deal, actually.
My personal headcanon is that the Sogmaster statue you speak of isn’t a statue, but instead the Sogmaster’s actual corpse put on public display. I mean, if they can exhibit Head Alien I’s body in the Smithsonian, then I don’t think this would be too out of line in this universe.
I don’t know if it’s ever been made clear whether the Soggies were eventually defeated or not. I’d like to hope so, but the few strips set after that leave it kinda ambiguous.
Precisely. As well as the OTHER person that Leslie dying here would have screwed over.
Actually come to think of it it’d probably cause one hell of a paradox, too, so. Yeah, Leslie dying here would have been an unmitigated disaster for the Walkyverse, even if she would later initiate the Soggening, which anyway probably wasn’t that bad.
According to Willis on Twitter a couple years ago, the wake held for Mike in S*P (around the time Mike had his fall in Dumbing of Age) was for Walkyverse!Mike, who finally fell to the Soggies. So that’s at least one person-we-know who may have died to them.
I feel like Walkyverse Mike is definitely enough of an asshole to fake his own death just to insult the people grieving at his wake. And/or sleep with their mothers.
It showed up in the background of a Something*Positive strip around that same time. S*P and SP had crossed over a few times before (mainly Roz getting a gooey cat from one of the main characters, if I remember right).
Man, Leslie really is a match for Robin in this universe. Not a crumb of impulse control between them.
That’s kind of a major theme of this storyline, I think.
uhhh, how does Joe fit inside her like that
*phrasing*

*himself and his cat and like THREE CARS, idk what he’s doing with those

I know I’d have a Fiero, Monza, C/K Blazer, or GMT400 Silverado if I had room for a third car.
Maybe she’s bigger on the inside…
I think Joe would think that was a negative.

I bet the reason is minimum parking space requirements, so whoever built the house didn’t have a choice not to build a massive garage
I was gonna link it before realising that was doxxing him (and with rehosting and sharing the photos, reverse GIS is nearly the same)

76% fatality rate huh
Oh good, a significant chunk of those corpses couldn’t be identified.
Love it when that happens, always a great sign.
Let’s all be very, very glad that DIDN’T end Shortpacked.
On the other hand Leslie is directly responsible for the disintegration of the walls between reality and fiction, causing Soggies to invade their reality, but…

So, still a net positive for Leslie.

I mean.

There’s no indication they stopped fighting the Soggies once they went back, but they definitely chose the Soggies over 2018.

Continuing from RassilonTDavros, they could’ve killed a liquid creature by mixing him into cement.
I don’t know if it’s ever been made clear whether the Soggies were eventually defeated or not. I’d like to hope so, but the few strips set after that leave it kinda ambiguous.
I mean Leslie doing that also brought [SPOILERS] back to life, I think that evens it out

Is he big enough of a jerk to do that to Amber (not to mention their daughter Donna), though?
Probably, and they’d half expect it
Wait, what wake for Mike? Shortpacked! has long finished by the time Mike had his fall on DoA.
It showed up in the background of a Something*Positive strip around that same time. S*P and SP had crossed over a few times before (mainly Roz getting a gooey cat from one of the main characters, if I remember right).
Ah, sorry, misread S*P as Shortpacked rather than Something*Positive.
For reference.
