Sal, you’re out of control!
on March 28, 2017 at 12:01 amThe Head Alien is so kind to remind Sal that, no, she is not necessarily destined to replicate the terribleness of her mother. It’s a good lesson! One that’s, y’know, made completely moot one word balloon later when Head Alien drops that, well, actually, she was framed anyway, so nevermind. Sorry! We almost had a moment, here! …I’m just writing Head Alien dialogue here, aren’t I, in a universe where he’s not treading softly with Sal so he doesn’t get deaded again.
Anyway, now we know who was in that second tube. It was Linda’s dead, soulless body! Which is why I don’t tag it, since Linda is in a new one now. That corpse is just medical waste!

Here she comes.
Walkerton! Hi!
Do you remember her screams?
Trying to remember
Seeing Dexter calmly and rationally talking Sal down is really weird.
Yeah he usually pisses people off.
Yeah, this is not Head Alien’s normal way of doing things, though he’s probably trying to avoid dying again.
He keeps you around as long as possible, so he can maximize the monologuing.
Huzzah! Linda’s not a terrible point of humanity, just a………terrible parent!
A really, really kind of terrible parent
Martian resurrection chambers preserve corpses surprisingly well.
I thought they rebuilt a new body out of whatever scraps you throw into them?
Maybe that particular chamber is permanently jammed in icebox mode, so they had to use a second one to build New Linda.
Well that’s unsettling. What’s with It’s Walky! and dead bodies? (just asking cuz it kinda… messes me up a bit, sorta)
Aging really did a number on her chin, didn’t it.
Is that a ball in Lindacorpse’s mouth?
It’s a fried egg. She died eating breakfast.
(Hey that would explain why the martians didn’t use that chamber; how are you supposed to take over Earth with chicken powers?)
Ball gag. Them Martians is kinky.
Also, really strange looks on Dina and Jason’s faces… With Jason looking oh so british…
That’s Alan actually.
Huh. For some reason I never understood that Linda’s body was in the tank, and thought the last panel was a flashback or something (which would bring the question of why it’s yellow then, but somehow that never occurred to me).
These last few days, I kept trying to remember what was on the tank, and coming up blank; only now do I realize I never actually knew.
That’s exactly how I felt. In hindsight, the yellow should have been a giveaway, but it just never was.
