Hello?
on March 3, 2016 at 12:01 amWelp, that’s the second-to-last Roomies! story you’ll see on this site. The absolute last one won’t publish for probably another half-decade, and will be the very, very last thing on here.
Not that It’s Walky! ain’t kinda lousy with appearances from Danny, Joe, and Billie from here on out anyway, but…
ahhh dat brick joke
We’re gonna see the Last Roomies Story Ever on this site?
Ballin’.
Thank god back to the story came here for.
Howard, Howard, Howard–
Singing Adele songs won’t make Billie remember to come get you…!
In a sense: Danny, Joe, Howard, and Billie (as well as an extra character who I shall not name) did kinda become a deuteragonist team to Squad 128 eventually.
So is Shortpacked not going to rerun on here when the time comes? Might be nice to get the entire Walkyverse in one place in chonological order, though of course it would take a really long time at one strip per day.
It would be awesome to have a complete hardcover, roomies/Itswalky/Joyce and Walky collection. Maybe with shortpacked as well, but thats kinda its own story.
That’s what I was thinking, too. Shortpacked, despite sharing some characters, isn’t really part of the same storyline the way those three are.
Putting both (the free ones and not-free ones) sets of Joyce and Walky together should be tricky enough even without getting Shortpacked into the mix.
I do wonder if Howard, at the end of It’s Walky! was stronger then Ron.
We need a power level chart. Eh just for the hell of it, I’m going to do my best guess at characters relative strength levels from largest to smallest
1. Walky
2. Sal
3. Joyce
4. Tony
5. Mike
6. Jason
7. Robin
8. Joe
9. Billie
10. Danny
11. Howard
12. Sarah
13. Ron
14. Mary
This is far from perfect, but its a start
Jason is higher than Robin? Jason?
Jason has beaten Robin before, while she was brainwashed. I don’t know how he did it, but he did it.
It’s the bowtie and James Bond suit, they secretly give him powers.
Isn’t Robin’s only superpower just running around really really fast, mostly powered by insane amounts of sugar? I mean I know supposedly all abductees have superstrength but I’m pretty sure Dina doesn’t so I didn’t think Robin did either.
Robin’s superspeed works best when it’s in service of her whims. The state of mind that comes with being brainwashed hampered her speed to the point that Jason could take her down.
How is Howard stronger than Sarah?
How is Danny stronger than Sarah?
Simply by virtue of actually fighting aliens. Sarah just always struck me as a character who acts cool, but never really does anything that impressive, while Howard held onto the back of a flying car as it launched into space.
I don’t remember this happening.
How could I forget this?!

don’t click if you don’t want to be spoiled
I feel like I should know who Ron is. Sadly this information escapes me at the moment.
He’s the bully that Danny punches out Ruth style
I’m assuming your including Joyce’s BFG in your assessment of her.
Beef oughta be included. Somewhere in the top 5.
I read the last Roomies story in the 2nd trade paperback, it was great.
Late to the party, but am I the only one who picked up on the timeline for ending this? Willis said:
“Welp, that’s the second-to-last Roomies! story you’ll see on this site. The absolute last one won’t publish for probably ANOTHER HALF-DECADE, and will be the very, very last thing on here.”
I see this as Willis telling us he will be pulling the plug — on this page? on everything but “Dumbing of Age”? On his cartoon career entirely? Place your bets! — in five years or so (a half-decade), and when we start to see the last ever “Roomies!” story then we will know that the end is nigh.
