While not as dramatic, it’s funnier to read it like Walky is being genuine here. First he is in rage mode, then the dramatic tension where they look at each other, then “OH, well everythings OK then, now where did I put my nachos?”
As Willis himself pointed out, Mike wasn’t drunk. So is Dina lying to end the fight, or blaming herself because of when she got him drunk before? Or a little of both?
Literally the only time I’ve ever seen Mike happy is a picture I saw him holding his daughter, Donna. He was trying to scowl but she was making it impossible.
So, no, I don’t think Mike is happy. I don’t think that he is ever happy. As for Dina…? I’m not even sure she’s entirely certain what that means.
I’m kinda glad Dumbing of Age exists so at least there’s one version of Dina that’s happy.
I have to hand it to Walky here, it’s one heck of a great closeup strip that he put together there- seriously, some of his best work
Welcome to the shame train
Nice camera angles.

I think it’s the latter – she is guilty for getting Mike drunk before, and therefore “deserves” whatever is going on now.

“Whatever feels going on now”
