This strip confuses me for a few moments each time I read it, since I keep imagining a shelled peanut ready for eating, which is, like, at best 1/2 the size of a kidney bean. Then ‘oh, right, it’s still “a peanut” when it’s the whole deal, isn’t it?’ kicks in/
Which is weird, cause usually there’s more than one peanut in there.
I heard sometimes you get twin peanuts.
Same, I always think of peanuts that aren’t still in the shell, which I know are smaller than kidney beans.

I wondered what lugumes are. According to the spell-checker its a typo, but I didn’t know legumes either (aside from being the French word for veggetables)
