Sarah’s here with her car!
on March 3, 2019 at 1:01 amChapter: Consummation
Location: New York, New York, SEMME Complex
Top: Sarah’s thinking to herself, “I…. I didn’t USE to be in a sci-fi comic…”
Bottom: And so the Vision Strips come to an end as Walky arrives in them, signalling that they are now the present moment.
“nonono, light speed’s too slow”
“LIGHT SPEED TOO SLOW??”
“Pre-prepare strip… for Ludicrous Speed!”
They’ve gone to plaid!
We can’t staahp. We have to slow down first!
So, the Martians picked them up, because they knew all along?
I never read any of this, so I’m just guessing.
Pretty sure this is how abductees can psychically interface with their tech.
I thought that was patched out after Walky figured out how to use it against Head Alien.
Pretty sure that’s the shadow of a large monkey of our acquaintance.
But he’s not tagged?
Willis has tagged blood, but shadows? That’s a step too far.
I forget when the vision strips ended. So I guess that means the SEMMF people who were killed before Walky and Joyce got there aren’t coming back then.
Huh. I thought Walky was seeing a possible future, not the present.
When the vision strips started he was. Remember, though, that the top has been covering several days of Walky and Joyce’s time and the visions cover maybe an hour or two at SEMME. They’ve caught up with each other.
If the bottom ones are vision strips, is Walky having a vision of himself arriving to save the day as he’s arriving to save the day?
Kind of, I think. He saw the “strange incoming objects”, but the last panel isn’t in, um, VisionVison, so he probably didn’t see himself piloting one.
Is it wrong to admit that I find grim badass Walky strangely hot?
I have no answers for you but your avatar complements that question so beautifully.
Same to you.
