In case you hadn’t noticed exactly how goofy Walky is, he makes Joyce the straight man.
After writing Sarah and Joyce as being kinda sisterly towards each other for years over in Dumbing of Age, it breaks me heart a little to see her represented in Joyce’s mind like this here.
Not sure why Joyce’s drool is pink. Also not sure the best response to someone waking of shrieking from memories of terrible porn is to shove meat in their mouth.

Today’s the fourteenth anniversary of the first It’s Walky! strip. Yeah, it began on Christmas Day. To celebrate, have some appropriately Walky-y Walky which originally ran sometime in June. I still draw him with his shoes untied.
“Proto-Squad,” huh? I’d forgotten that Tony’s squad wasn’t 128 yet at this point. Weird. Walky, of course nobody’s going to wake up for Dominos, especially pre-recipe-overhaul Dominos. …this may be part of the joke, I dunno.
