We went to a hardware store (Lowes, I think?), went to the paint section, found a color purple we generally liked, selected a number of paint swatches equal to our brides-people, and then handed/mailed them to them and said “get something approximately this color”.
Everyone basically matched while also picking out their own clothes and feeling comfortable in them.
If it’s anything like my wedding, then she’s doing all the coordinating anyway. I was really only needed for my opinion on basic palette choices and being the bank.
Once you elope, you may never nope.
Or…. just have tubs of ice cream at the reception.
The tubs would last less than five minutes with Robin around.
Eating ice cream at super speed seems like a bad idea. But, this is Robin we’re talking about…
Maybe that’s why they don’t just have a tub of ice cream in the freezer. Every time they buy some, it disappears in a Skittles-scented blur.
I’ve never understood the work that goes into wedding planning
MIL asked what she should wear, and I said, “w/e idk” and she threw a fake tantrum that I wasn’t Bridezilla-ing
like
that’s a lot of work I just want the psychological and tax benefits of the marriage

So they can’t have ice cream while coordinating dress colors at the same time?
That’s what I was thinking.
Drops of ice cream would get everywhere.
Well…maybe they’re mutually exclusive for Walky and Joyce, and that’s very sad for them. Or at least for Walky. Joyce seems pretty okay about it.
Same, like why are these things mutually exclusive?

…and, you know, the whole “groom” thing. lol
