You’ve sunk to a new evil, Mike!
on August 20, 2015 at 12:01 amChapter: Reaching a Churning Point
Characters: David Walkerton, Drunk Mike Warner
Location: Squad 128's apartment
“okay you’re right but i’ve already emotionally invested in wanting to kick your ass”
Anyway, I like this punchline. It’s clever. Unusually, for me, at this age.
Mike… probably won’t even defend himself 😐
Being so righteous that I can’t justify assaulting you – that is true evil right there!
I feel reeeaaal stupid.
I don’t get the last panel.
Old game shows used to have versions you could play at home, preferably to play along. Naturally, one of the ‘prizes’ they’d hand out would be the free advertising that is the home game.
Take from that what you will.
From where i am from,we used to have game shows for children in which they controlled the characters using the home phone and also,if you managed to win,you could have choose one of the three prizes.Ahh,good times.
Oooohhhh.
I kept thinking it was, like, about sports.
“It saddens me that kids today don’t know what a ‘home game’ is,” said the 21-year-old who has probably seen too many game show clips on YouTube.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen it mentioned, but IIRC, it was usually a “booby prize” for runners-up.
Don’t feel bad, it took me a moment too.
This may be the first instance of Mike being a sanctified asshole (regardless of his inebriation).
Wtg Walkerton. Taking action when it will do you no good.
The fuck is that suppose to mean?
Yeah, this is a clever joke, executed with just the right character. Bravo, Past-Willis.
Was there ever a point where Walky wasn’t trying to kill Mike over the fact that, a bastard or not, he was basically always more successful with the women Walky desired? It’s sort of disturbing that Mike’s calculated sadism and borderline dual-personality when drunk was essentially more attractive to them than Walky’s calculated and defiant childish immaturity.
Mike hasn’t hit on Dorothy.
Yet.
Though he did pose as her boyfriend once.
This won’t be the last time Walky assaults Mike undeservedly.
It’s possible to assault Mike undeservedly?
Or is it that Walky doesn’t deserve to be the one to do it?
Exactly what I was thinking, too.
On the other hand, it’s Mike. I’m sure wanting to punch him in the face is a default with anyone who meets him.
I love Drunk Mike so much.
No punch.
