What if they need us?
on February 23, 2019 at 1:01 amChapter: Consummation
Characters: Bryan Nowak, Daisy Conrad, David Walkerton, Gerald, Grace Svenson, Joyce Brown, Mandy Kowalski, Marcie Diaz, Mike Warner, Travis Amir
Location: fragile hotel, SEMME Complex
Top: uh oh i think this might be where walky starts seeing these visions, i dunno
Bottom: uh oh
It feels like this would be particularly awkward if they really were concurrent
Dumbing of Age Mandy is so incredibly turned on right now and she cannot tell you why
Why does Joyce think that SEMME won’t have to fight anymore if they just had a conference about how the Martians were coming? It’s not like they actually had confidence that the government count handle it.
Part of it might be wishful thinking, and Joyce (somewhat understandably and rightly) realizing that this maybe shouldn’t have been their responsibility in the first place. Plus they probably don’t feel very confident about having done more good than harm in their time at SEMME, so, she probably just wants to elope and forget the whole mess and hope for the best, and is rationalizing that they probably weren’t needed anyway.
But she forgot that SEMMF is kind of a dump so whoopsWhy isn’t Daisy tagged?
It’s late; I’m tired. I’m forgetting if “Delta 8” in the bottom comic is something established already.
I’m sure SEMMF will do fine without Walky and Joyce. They’re definitely not going to be attacked by Britjas in the near future or anything.
Anyone else REALLY hate the Britjas, ESPECIALLY Penny? Head Alien is an annoying, a-hole, jerk, but SEMMF can thwart him, even though they can’t finish him. The Martians are … OMINOUS. The Cheese is The Cheese is the Cheese. Penny is … what’s the word for her (it’s NOT bongo).
I was gonna say “evil just because she thinks it’s fun fun” but like. Head Alien is exactly that, so that’s not it.
The Britjas are a bit Villain Sue.
*Fun. Not fun fun. LOL
“Why–?” Uh, probably because they were kidnapped and brainwashed on a previous mission. You knew about this at the time. “Why” they hell didn’t you do something about it? I mean, we already knew Linda was grossly incompetent and unsuited for command, but this is just the next level.
