Some relatively complicated panels for this page! I’d been hiding a lot of stuff behind ink-black shadows and drawing relatively simple angles. But check out those multiple worms-eye views. I’m workin’ this one.
Well these two sure seem oddly smile-y in that first panel, considering they’ve just learned about a death in the family.* I know Joyce was kinda like that when Ruth died, too, but former-romantic-rival or not this is still someone she’s known for ten years.
Yeah, there’s a few MMOs that have Rage meters for fighter-types to power their attacks. Main one that comes to mind is World of Warcraft with its warriors.
maybe that’s just a giant mound of future kids in the bg
these are definitely some neat angle compositions tho!
OSHAII-compliance ain’t easy. (also, name the next baby Jet)
Like a worm, we must tread on with the art.

*if it were linda i’d get it
I’d say they’ve got some other priorities going on, to be fair. Not much time to mourn
Yeah, they can mourn after they beat the crap out of HAII.
What better way to acknowledge a death than a murderous beatdown of your archenemy?
It’s what Sal would have wanted.
On that last bit, definitely.
Help a not-young out: Is “rage” ever one of those meters on a video game stat bar, like “health” or various types of ammuntion?

So, “scrounge more some up”. Is that an error, or do people actually talk that way?
I figure it’s probably supposed to say “scrounge some more up.”
