So first the Britjas didn’t have time for shooting, so they turned to mind-wiping…and now they don’t have time for mind-wiping, so they turn to shooting?
…too many people there as well, easier to knock them out temporarily than to kill everyone while you yourself are getting the crap kicked out of you.
The other guys on the other hand…they have to plant the bomb, arm it, then get the heck out- easier to kill and let the bomb destroy the evidence than to mindwipe them and potentially have them accidentally stop you.
Plus, killing everyone would leave a huge hole, and holes mean dangerous negative space. Mindwiping them and killing only who you need to is less problematic in the long run.
…or at least I’m willing to buy into that for the sake of the story.
What’s the worry? She can just throw it in and shut the door. There’s no possible way anything could happen to complicate that simple plan and cause things to end horribly. Nope. No way at all.

They don’t have time to figure out what they don’t have time for.
I know that might sound inconsistent but consider this….okay I got nothing.
No, first it was getting too MESSY. They wanted it all tidy-like b/c who wants to step in blood when doing victory laps I guess

That seems like a pretty big flaw to have a bomb that can be accidentally activated just by dropping it.
I guess maybe if their bosses care more about making sure destruction happens somewhere than about precision or maintaining their minions’ lives…?
FWIW, I’m pretty sure lots of things can be accidentally activated if they’re dropped in the right way.
In my experience, things break when they get dropped.
Someone’s about to Act With Integrity.
No regrets?
Maybe some regrets.
(Lucky avatar roll.)
No rugrats.

No ragrets.
This really ought to be titled Nononono…
Can’t wait for this to finally finish being posted so I can reread it all and finally figure out all of Chekov’s belongings.
Well, he won’t own the Glass Steel Chamber anymore, it’s gonna get cashed in!
he never did pick up that gun he left, did he?
Oh, Dina.
That sounded like a great plan on paper.
Nothing bad ever happens in the Transparent Steel Chamber
Oh good, she found a safe place for the bomb. Things are starting to look up! Right?
Cue regrets in 5…
“I’m so excited for a webcomic that’s not about being drunk and depressed!”
