It took me several readings to get this. Originally I thought this was a real conversation, with panel 3 Walky saying what he knows Joyce wants him to say and then panel 4 Walky making a joke about him dreaming to signal that he’s actually not okay with this.
Realizing that it’s JOYCE’S daydream makes the whole strip make a lot more sense.
