This is Peter, my husband.

(i will probably talk more about that kickstarter link tomorrow, but it should PROBABLY go here tonight anyway)
Hey, it’s Peter, everyone! Dr. Peter Paul! Yeah, technically Mary’s name is Mary Paul at the moment, despite the tags, but meh. I’m not updating that. I’m sure she’ll go back to that name eventually.
Peter recently started showing up in Dumbing of Age as Mary’s boyfriend. He’s a little more…. MORE there.
yes his name is a pun
‘I’m sure she’ll go back to that name eventually.’
Wow, that’s a little dark.
Peter Paul and Mary? Seriously?
*finger guns*
Hey, it’s not as egregious as Dream Daddy. *cough* Mary, Joseph, and like five kids named some variation of Christ *cough*
What the hell kind of name is “Crish”?
The kind of baby name one thinks of while.drunk, and also signs the legal paperwork while drunk?
I’ve forgotten if Peter is less terrible in this universe than the DoA version of him. I did remember the pun of his name and Mary though.
I remember him being fairly neutral… not given enough chance to shine or disgust, either or
I remember him calling the cops right after Sal and Jason leave.
See, that I didn’t remember, nor why
(if for this segment, I’m assuming “because you’re supposed to do that”, but I’m thinking of a later part)
A book kickstarter? Neat
What a novel idea.
Book it with those puns.
Hey now! Find the spine not to leaf it at that, and don’t judge that pun by its cover.

The ideal thing for Sal to say at this point would be something like this: “Oh no you don’t! Nothing good comes from confessing to past misdeeds or your perception of them! You rake things over, open old wounds and create awkwardness. Just forget it and move on; I’ll judge you on now, not then!”
Of curse, that would require Sal to be emotionally healthy and more than 50% sane, neither of which she is.
” I drink instant coffee.”
*Peter walks back, silently gives Sal an arm, and walks away*
… It hurts more that I know about Peter Paul and Mary than it did to hear that joke.
