My only regret is that Jason’s attire being in color even in the grayscale dailies is not something that lasts beyond this strip.
Also, I think that SUV parked next to them is the same model as Ultra Car’s first chassis. What I mean is, I can only draw one SUV.

There WAS a fashion fad of “funky”, bright neon colours in the 1990s (went along with the whole “EXXTREEEEM!!!” bit).
If this comic was from the early 2000s, that’s just about the right time for those clothes to still be on the racks, but not selling well because the neon fad is over.
