I mean, Walking Mary did (for lack of a better word) gaslight Billie and Danny in an effort to drive them apart, all because she didn’t like that her old friend was associating with a “harlot”.
Meanwhile, Dumbing Mary relishes in her transphobic harassment of Carla, taking advantage of a compromised authority figure to get away with it.
Emotionally isolating someone because they’re impure versus making a transgender woman feel unsafe in her place of residence? Tough call.
However, I feel that as of Book 7, Chapter 3 of DoA, Dumbing Mary wins on merit of her hunting that she still intends to bully someone whom she knows, without a doubt in her mind, is suicidally depressed.
I’ve forgotten what this universe’s Mary is like. I’m pretty sure she’s not nearly as terrible as DoA Mary though.
Eh. She’s pretty bad.
I mean, Sal’s thought bubble says it all.
She started off as critical and judgey and turned hypocritical and… well, more passive-aggressive judgey.
But she’s nowhere near as bad as DoA Mary.
And the last time we saw her she was making an effort to improve.

…*hinting that she still…
She really, really is. Mary is a horrible jackass no matter which universe she’s in.
First three panels look very little like Mary.
Oh god, I remember where this goes.
NOT MARY NOOOOOOO
Somehow I had managed to forget that this universe’s Sal was friends-ish with Mary.
Yet another thing I’m sure DoA!Sal would need to yell at Walkyverse!Sal about.
Can Mary do anything about wounds?
Not directly…
Shame them away, deceive and manipulate them, try to convert them… probably not.
Nobody’s gonna say “thoughts’n’prayers”?
Southpaws like myself notice other southpaws immediately. Mary’s holding her brush (…pen) in the left hand. Am I missing something?
Also, I forgot her hair color here is drawn barely darker than Joyce’s color.
Well, she is a bit. . . Sinister. . . Is she not?
And yes, we lefties do tend to stick together. There’s a reason Link has been my favorite videogame character since I was little.
“Let’s have more Mary” said no reader ever.
(quietly clears throat)
Have a cough drop, no reader.
Do we have to?
Mary’s hair is weird in Panel 1. The top of it is like a triangle.
Meridot confirm
“Awwww, you’re like a judgmental little slice of pie!”
I hope she calls Sal a clod.
“It’s Mary!” doesn’t sound like a good comic title.
True, it needs more aaaas.
It’s tragic that all of Sal’s relationships basically can be summed up by the thoughts in panel four.

Spoiler alert: both of these things happen.
Asking Mary about not judging you sounds harder than asking her not to breathe
NOOOOOOOOOO
