I know there’s been lots of changes made to the Star Wars movies with new special edition releases over the years, but I can’t guess which ones this strip is referencing.
I think this was when they revamped the Cantina scenes to add more CGI aliens for no good reason. Which may have also been the revision that made Greedo shoot first.
They also added some extra critters around Mos Eisley and in the Tattooine desert. Really, just extra stuff all over. Like Walkerton and Brown’s apartment!
