No Billie/Danny kids at Billie and Danny’s wedding, I think was their point. Donna and the triplets had been born for Mike and Amber’s and Leslie and Robin’s respective weddings.
If it is psychological, then why is it impacting him while Dorothy is suppressed? And can’t he just remove it with his free hand? Or at least destroy the wall with his free hand?
I think HA was too caught off guard to immediately break free. Also add in his constant need to sass and showboat and you have your self an easily catchable opponent. Not to mention now they would have to waste time prepping and destroying the wall, giving the gang more than enough time to jump his ass.
Also Robin being a superspeeder could high speed drop kick them before they got readjusted after breaking the wall. At quite the impass really.
As for why the mental effects are affecting him, I just chalk it up to Newton’s law of force and opposing force. I ain’t got much in knowledge of psychology so I just leave that up to Willis.
But my guess is that Dorothy didn’t get her body upgraded until well into adult age here. Might be harder to take over an older host who despite HA’s efforts hasn’t been traumatized nearly as bad as some of the main crew was when they were kids or memory wiped and restored. Her brains more intact so perhaps she can fight back more?
Ah, the memetic power of duct tape, which it sorely lacks in the real world, being the worst choice for pretty much any application. It even sucks for it’s intended purpose.
sounds like working in I.T.
I’m pretty sure this makes Danny and Billie the only Walkyverse couple who don’t have their fully-fledged children present at their wedding.
I mean they probably do, they just didn’t get a spotlight. Kinda get the sense that there were quite a lot of brainwashed future kids.

D’oh.
yeah, that
Also, Billie/Danny’s kids would have no abductee powers. Not much point in brainwashing and using them as soldiers.
I don’t think all the established future kids have at least one abductee parent. Off the top of my head, there’s Doc/Female Doc and I think Faz/Wen.
Unless I’m misremembering, HAII didn’t get to choose his army; he just grabbed the kids that ended up here.
I just realised… did we ever find out Wen’s last name?
Is it Deez (nuts)?
“That’s our boy.”
Seeing/thinking “It’s _______” here feels so automatic.
I’m assuming this means Machete will now be tagged for his finger in the previous strip?
*Plays “Hardware Store” by Weird Al Yankovic on the hacked Muzak*
seems kinda odd for Walky to be comedically shrugging when one of those escapes Machete is talking about was extremely traumatising for him
Uh, to me it looks like Joyce and Walky are thinking of Hankypanky using duct tape. Either past or future.
‘This is supposed to be a safety feature!’ Aaah, karma’s a bongo, isn’t it HA?
The Woman Wonders how this makes sense.
(I went for the more commonly-known reference yesterday, but this was my first thought)
“Kneel before the dragon of Zakuul.”
OH SHIT IT DID HOLD
WHAT THE FUUUUU-
he refuses to be traumatized by this
oops, that was supposed to be a reply to hugo
I actually expected it to be Robin, honestly. Superspeed, y’know?
Same, I figured she went and got some duct tape with her superspeed or something.

also, I think maybe Machete meant “psychosomatic.”

I haven’t read the archives in a while, but when was this power of duct tape mentioned before? Is it Chekov’s Duct Tape or Ductus Ex Machina?
I don’t remember either.
