Back during the It’s Walky Final Battle:
Billie: *Horrified at Walky’s death and deeply confused in general*
Robin: Wait, you know Walky?
Billie: He and I shared a babysitter as kids.
Robin: Oh, uh… that sucks.
Billie: And then I made out with that babysitter when she and I were both in college.
Robin: Huh.
Billie: And then she died saving my now-boyfriend who was driving drunk and underage.
Robin:… So I’m gonna defuse this awkward with more awkward, then. *Removes shirt*
Honestly I’m half imagining Billie brings it up awkwardly and basically unprompted the way Ethan’s doing in DoA today. Only instead of it being because she’s depressed, it’s because Jennifer’s Complete Disasterness in the Dumbingverse is suddenly bleeding onto Billie’s Less Complete Disasterness in the Walkyverse.
From (what I understand to be) a symbolic standpoint, it makes perfect sense that Shortpacked! being invaded by the It’s Walky! cast would entail its love triangles being invaded by It’s Walky! ships. Which kinda makes this feel like foreshadowing for what’s coming next.
Dear non-existent god, I cannot wait to see that arc with commentary.
I have to imagine that Walkyverse!Billie is not a cartoonishly callous jerk at all times, and that she occasionally opens up about her trauma to people, including possibly her childhood best friend.
Like at 33 years old keeping Walky at that kind of emotional distance entirely to maintain the facade that she barely tolerates him has to have gotten old, right?
Oh dear.
OH HEY Time Change
Didn’t think it’d be up yet
As for how Walky knows… I mean, the real question is how the hell Robin knew. (TW: ableist slurs that were all too frequent in early Shortpacked)
Obviously, she read Roomies!.
…honestly, for Robin specifically, that might just be the most plausible explanation.

I think it’s funnier if it’s a totally hypothetical example that Robin came up with off the top of her head.
My HC is Joe told her at some point off-panel during It’s Walky. As for why I have no idea.
I choose to believe Billie casually mentioned it, since why not.

Now we wait for the full on universe crossover
Because I’d die of laughter seeing DoA Joyce react to being married to Walky

Walky knows from his time as The Cheese.
Or maybe Ruth told him when they were both dead
I’m assuming Billie must have mentioned it to Walky at some point. Or someone else who she told mentioned it to Walky.
So Rachel never came back?
*spoilers*
I remember Leslie’s eyes in the second panel sticking with me. Something about the way they look hurt.
