She didn’t even come back for her stuff

Characters: Jason Chesterfield, Joyce Brown
Location: Squad 128's apartment
And then Mike walks in, says “Well, she told me everything, maybe you’re just a dick,” and then walks out.
“Life is a mystery. Everyone must stand alone.”
Isn’t it obvious Jason? She wants to extinguish her hearth so that she could become undead, duh.
Because the foundation and development of Sals character was formed in the same era as between the 90’s and 2010, a time where a lot of action heroes tried to be melodramaticlly over the top and edgey.
Says the one that anti-Joyce had the hanky-panky with.
You mean Mike right?
Dang it, now I almost wish that panel was there.
Now I wish Mike really said that.
It’s the epilogue panel, #6. Waaaay down in the bottom right corner
of our minds.Going out on a limb here and suggesting that maybe Sal is a much better mom for Joyce than the alternative. Not even a mind wipe was able to erase the damage done by that upbringing. It’s the gift that keeps on taking.
Walkyverse!Hank and Carol were actually pretty cool.
They were just pushy about getting grandkids, and also were gigantic kinky weirdos.
I dunno. Knowing what we know now about Jocelyne, “What about my brothers?” “They’ve failed me.” takes on an especially ominous cast.
Jocelyne was first introduced in Walkyverse, though, in a subscriber-only Joyce and Walky strip, 3 years before her first Dumbiverse appearance. (Thank you, Walkypedia!)
