Protest from the usual suspect

Characters: David Walkerton, Drunk Mike Warner, Ethan Siegal, Jason Chesterfield, Leslie Bean, Machete, Manny Ackerman, Robin DeSanto, Ultra Car
Location: Shortpacked!
Manny’s doing some recalibrating.
(who is walky recounting this story to?)
“who is walky recounting this story to?”
It was Agatha all along
He’s talking to Bloodrose.
Walky’s talking to that Wendy’s cashier
…which is like the ONLY strip I haven’t seen, where did it go
[I assume it was axed bc not original content]
Wait, Wendy’s cashier? Missing strip? Do tell.
every time I search for it brings the tears (not the good kind; for instance, found a terrible dudebro/incel? site)
but once upon a time somebody drew a bunch of comics parodying/belittling other comics, including one called “Walk!”… it was three panels, all clearly of Walky, and went like
Panel 1: “God, I have a HUGE BONER!”
Panel 2: *derp face*
Panel 3: *even derpier face but happier derpier like wall-eyed derp*
Willis linked to it and complained that it was such a perfect It’s Walky! strip and redrew it but added a final panel
Panel 4: Walky: “I said–”
(Wendy’s?) Cashier: “Yeah, yeah, we heard you.”
Re: the commentary: I’m gonna guess Walky’s telling that story to Machete. I mean, that’s the sort of embarassing story that the kid’s bound to hear eventually anyway, so why not just get it over with?
(side note: smol machete is one of the most adorable things, he looks like a chipmunk)
Machete went back to his own time period/time line.
I figure it’s another parent, probably Billie/Jennifer or Danny.
Machete is currently dangling over Walky’s shoulder in that panel.
Why would he refer to him in the third person if he was talking to him, though?
He’s talking about Mike. Just be glad he’s not recounting the second half of that event. On screen.
Kind of also applies if he’s talking to the future version, too.
We don’t know the context:
“Who’s daddy’s little fellow slob, an’ he ate up all my chips, and barfed ’em up in front of me? Is it you? Yes, it is!” sort of works, although Machete may be a bit old for that sort of conversation.
Come to think of it, are we sure Walky’s even the one that’s talking?
Machete? What? The one who ate all of Walky’s chips and barfed them up was Mike. Walky’s telling a story about this wedding’s groom.

@Gigafreak: I think everyone forgot this actually happened (Willis included, judging by the commentary). I actually imagined that was the case without it even occurring to me that it could’ve happened on-screen.
He appears to think Machete is his cell phone. Walky’s had a hard day.
Like to think Walky’s talking to Jesus
Joyce, as Walky’s explaining how yes, buying two tiny toddler wedding suits was 100% necessary.
And also, why she should hand him off DIRECTLY instead of just hoping.
Joyce may be regretting that “go bother Daddy” right about now.
Precisely!
I place my bet on Billy, since she and Danny went through the trouble of coming to a stranger’s wedding* might as well hear some gossip about them.
*The invitation list from Mike side was probably a copy paste list from Joyce and Walky’s since no one was sure who from there was close to Mike.
I think he’s telling his kid something Mike did to mess with him?
I can’t remember if this is before or after Amber’s family and/or most of the Shortpacked crew found out about Drunk Mike’s personality shifting.
They found out during the proposal.
I guess it makes sense that Pinkie Pie is Mike’s favorite pony. Of the MLP:FiM main pony characters, she’s the most chaotic.
Mine’s Glimmer. Love me a good redeemed villain.
Twiggles is a close second.
