I JUST remembered that somebody put up one of those roadside memorials for “JOYCE BROWN” near my house and it was REALLY WEIRD and made me wonder if something happened in the Willisverse I didn’t know about

There must be another alternate universe where everything tracks with the prime Walkyverse except Joyce and Ruth’s roles are swapped.
To my surprise when I set up my phone to take video as I passed it, it was already gone, so…?? Guess they didn’t REALLY want to memorialize her?
When Joyce’s sister comes out as a transwoman to the family and her best friend Becky comes out as gay and are ostracized, Joyce is devastated. She fails to protect her friend from a “reeducation” camp and her sister almost dies from anti-trans violence. The resulting fallout causes Joyce to spin out into a deep depression. Feeling abandoned by God, she turns her back on religion and becomes an alcoholic. When she has the opportunity to save her friend from a drunk driving accident, she sacrifices herself rather than see another person suffer while she sits by doing nothing. “No regrets.”
