Joyce: But…that would mean he might know where I left my car keys! Oh thank God, this jetpack chafes something awful!
DUN DUN DUUUUUNNN
Where were you on the day Joyce lost her memory?
Somewhere in England.
Several places. Whatsit to you?
I was gonna say “getting bronchitis from an ex who didn’t know how to not get contagious diseases” but that’s this strip…
[I’d say remind me of the original date, but it was most likely “reading web comics”]
Traveling the world with the thorn Berry’s.
I was hoping “Watching the first Pokemon movie” would be a plausible answer, but it looks like that would have been around six months later.
I was, like, two.
I was behind bars!
The bars of a crib, that is.
Alan’s Ambiguous Agenda.
Coming soon to… whatever cartoon channel’s least terrible right now, I honestly don’t know!
So if Big Boss calls David “Walkerton,” does he call Beef “Steve,” or also “Walkerton?”
…Or “Beef,” for that matter.
…*grunt*?
You know what would be fun? The classic move of Drawing something on EVERYONES face while they’re asleep.
Should we take this to mean that Jason’s actually a religious man? In what stadium of Willis’ withdrawal from christianity did this episode originally air? Enquiring minds want to know.
Maybe ‘non-observant Christian’ is also a part of his all-pervasive britishness.
Not necessarily, I know some people who don’t believe in god but just use that phrase for dramatic effect. Another possibility is that he is not religious, but has a general belief that there is some sort of higher power.
My bf constantly swears using the phrase, “Jesus wept.” Usually very LOUDLY.
Not remotely a religious type.
Yes, it’s obviously dramatic posturing & therefore may not mean he actually believes. Still, because of the author’s struggle with shedding his religion, it would be interesting to know which religious stance he assigned to Jason when scripting this scene.
Do religious people even say that sort of crap?
Seems odd to me. I feel like I’m seriously showing my naïvety here.
Alan – Walky’s abs are caramel-y good. You should go smoosh faces with him.
Attacking faces with Walky’s six-pack?
…Isn’t “crushing cans with your forehead” a thing people do? This could backfire horrifically!
