You’re sorry? No, you’re not sorry – not till you apologize for completely failing to shoot Head Alien at point blank range! Now his reign of drama may never end. Hope you’re happy.
But if they kill him now, they may never learn what other secret family relations he’s hiding! Why, Jason could turn out to be Robin’s long-lost middle brother’s childhood best friend’s palaeobotany professor’s drug dealer’s hitman’s killer’s ex-boyfriend!
Funny thing is the real line “I am your father’s brother’s nephew’s cousin’s former roommate” isn’t quite as distant a relationship as implied. Parse it out and it either means “I am your cousin’s former roommate”, “I am your sibling’s former roommate” or “I am your former roommate”.
Unless the nephew of your uncle is actually in the family tree your uncle married into, and his cousin could be in yet another family tree altogether. So, it could be ridiculously strung out.
What the world
Needs now
Is rage
Sweet rage
Not to just kill some
But kill evvveryone

Well then… what would that make them?
Absolutely nothing!!! Hahahahaha!
Oh, are we doing *that* now?

That’s the moral if you’re Sal.
I’ve always loved Joyce’s jaded expression in the last panel.
