The Cheese is here in silhouette because that’s super ominous. Also because I hadn’t really designed him yet. At this point I think in my mind’s eye he still had legs.
“The Cheese” is based on the name David Willis picked for himself in high school French class. It later became his first online handle.
Huh. I had alway assumed the name stemmed from people substituting “cheese” when they want to use an exclamation or swear with “Jesus” in it without invoking the latter’s name in vain. (I’m pretty sure I remember Joyce using it that way early in DoA, even before she gets to know the Dexter & Monkey Master franchise.)
So I’ve never read It’s Walky before and just finished binging these archives after absolutely loving dumbing of age.
How do I read the rest of It’s Walky without waiting for Willis to upload here?- cause I assume it’ll take a while yet.
Go to the Joyce and Walky tag on DoA’s page, start paging back on its old dated calendar thing to September 2001 (you won’t have to go completely manual at least but it will be a trial).
and by the looks of it, he had no holes…
then he was swiss’d!
Does that mean at this time, he’s un-holey?
Well, we we know he’s not a gouda guy…
He’ll brie back
…question is, next time, will he give edam?
But how would we know his arrival if he weren’t in silhouette pretty much constantly? Le gasp.
So, does he smell like cheese too ?
I’m trying to remember what the fans used to call him before he was reveled. Evil Silouette Man?
Robo-Vac.
I do believe in spooks! I do believe in spooks! I do! I do! I do! I do!
http://www.itswalky.com/comic/not-so-fast/ The way his head is shaped reminded me of Robo-Vac, but I doubt they are the one and same.
Of course he’d have legs. How else would he stand alone?
The godlike, reality shattering monster being called The Cheese still makes me giggle.
I don’t remember, but I assume Walky gave him that “name.”

I still didn’t really get who and what the Cheese was.
He’s the Cheese. That’s all you need to know.
IT’S ROBOVAC!
