I just realized that I’ve been misreading Jay’s line in this strip for years. What I thought was a D is actually a B. Which is unfortunate, because I think if it was a D it immediately is one of the top 5 greatest things Jay has ever said, and I don’t care that Kevin Smith didn’t write it.
To be fair, I think genitalia of such a scale (larger than 100′) might be more common in literature and comics than drug paraphernalia of comparable size, since I’ve never seen an example of the latter.
Does that mean the Martian ship might have some sort of ursine driver? How can that be?
Martian animation studio!
EVERYBODY WORK.
Ahh! He big mean Martian whip us! We are slaves.
Everybody disco dancing! Lots of fun, good times for all!
Oh no! Police!
Quickly in here!
Are the people in panels 2 and 3 anyone in particular?
The bald guy looks like a certain Dentist that David knows. (No! Not Hermey the elf!)
Is that Jay and Silent Bob in panel 4?
They’re even tagged.
I’m curious as to how he got permission to use them.
What an odd thing to say.
The same way he got permission from Warner Brothers to use Batman in all those Shortpacked strips.
See I always wonders about that. I mean copy right law isn’t what I do so I don’t know. But this doesn’t seem to fall under fair use.
Cameos fall under parody law.
WEE-OO WEE-OO the I-don’t-know-anything-about-copyright-law police is here.
Cat status: Out of bag, approaching escape velocity.
Dammit Nebby, get back in there!
There wasn’t a lot of Clerks the Animated Series TO watch….
Willis finds a way!
Or perhaps two watch?
…just what I was thinking.
The “entire” series (all of 6 episodes) was out on DVD by this point, so maybe Willis was just watching it on repeat?

That is totally how I read it too. I would love to see the bigger one.
I’m… pretty sure I’ve seen ones bigger than the Earth, in the right fetish art.
No, Kid In Panel Two, I’m pretty sure that’s not Mommy.
Is panel 4 a Monkey Island reference? Or did Monkey Island reference something I didn’t know about?
Monkey Island (and Clerks) were both borrowing a running joke from Get Smart.
Oooooh celebrity cameos!
I’m not even supposed to be here today!
Oh yeah, the Bill Cipher voiceprint overlay is definitely in full effect for this stretch.
