I don’t know where you lived, okay?
on November 7, 2016 at 12:01 amChapter: Missionary Position
Characters: Joe Rosenthal, Joyce Brown
Location: Joyce's parents' house, Squad 128's apartment
Yeah, JASON.
Meanwhile, I’m not sure who’s stacking on top of each other under a luau shirt back home to pass themselves off as Joe.
I was starting to wonder where I’d reffed this house design from, but then I remembered, oh, right, I probably drew it in Roomies!, and there it is. So I just extrapolated the rest of the building, is all. Also, since I found that strip through the joyces-parents-house location tag, I have discovered that I drew her house wrong in the New It’s Walky! Opening, not having referenced back to either of these panels at the time. Oops!
Well that was fast.
For a seocnd I thought it was a village outside the Black Forrest, Germany.
“Meanwhile, at stately Wayne Manor…”
That was a very fast airplane.
Spaceship
I don’t think they are allowed to take one of their ships to fly to Joyce’s parents. Were would they park it?
Downtown. It’s $20 a day, parred down to $15 if you book online.
Light speed.
Something I’ve always loved about these comics is Joyce’s connection to the region of Indiana I grew up in, where I was raised under much the same belief system. Nobody else does this. Anyone who moves out or deprograms themselves just doesn’t write about it or talk about it.
And as I recall, this arc in particular is when Joyce finds out why.
Well, Tailsteak does it quite a bit in Leftover Soup too, but these are the only examples I can think of.
Wait, Tailsteak escaped that? I thought he was setting up the poly group for some sort of Christian moralizing on monogamy, so I lost interest, even though it was otherwise pretty cool.
Ah yes, Air Scene Transition.
Ladies and gentlemen, that is how you make a well executed transaction.
Oh, right, DST is over, we get early IW! again.
Man, I want Joe’s power to just say stuff and it happens.
“And conveniently the 2016 election is now over!”
…DAMN IT
You didn’t know? Massive write-in campaign… David Walkerton won by a landslide.
Joe has the Mojo from Skin Horse.
