Hey, whoa, have you seen the news?
on October 6, 2017 at 12:01 amChapter: Escape
Location: Squad 128's apartment
Oh no, there’s no way a secret government organization powered by magically-advanced science will ever figure out whose blood that could be, no sir. Doing some manner of “blood test” is beyond any reasonable knowledge.
i just want to know if she, like, held aloft that bloody mitten for an entire bus ride back to downtown while everyone else stared at her, or if she can somehow fly with that coat on, or
You mean like some sort of Crime Scene… Investigators?
Good thing SEMME has access to
*sunglasses*
bleeding edge technology.
[the-who-yeaaah.wav]
I guess you could say they were caught…
*sunglasses*
Red handed.
OMG, does that mean that we are . . .
*sunglasses*
Memeing?
I was assuming Joyce walked back there or something, but maybe she just told people she spilled some ketchup on her mitten.
I’d never considered her trip back but I DID always think she says it like it’s this big dramatic moment and I kinda wanted someone to respond something like “Well 50% odds the person bleeding had super healing powers and then we don’t really need to worry about that.”
I had had this idea that the prison was like two blocks away
We’re investigating two alien sightings
You’ve found Joyce’s friends
I’m gonna be fine
B-be quiet
Time’s up.
It’s like in Mansquito where the experimental biotech laboratory is right next to the prison so that escaping convicts will stumble in and become mutant Mansquitos one the way out!
I dunno, sounds like SEMME to me.
Who needs to fly when you’re powered by Bat-style angst?

I’d guess she took the mitten off, put it in a bag or something to preserve it as possible evidence, but then on the way in she realized her hand was cold and so decided to put it back on. That’s what makes sense.
I like to think Joyce walked back from the hospital, holding her hand like that, with that same facial expression the entire time. Because as we all know the S in “SEMME” stands for “subtle”.
Prison, not hospital.
Dangit.
Great: Just when things couldn’t get worse, we have Tony and Walky both dong the “Grrr! Alpha Male!” thing.
Maybe she got new, clean mittens but ran across another unrelated pool of blood on the way home and touched that too. I know she appears to be brandishing the blood soaked mitten, but maybe she’s just gesturing.
Wait…the idea is that Sal has been kidnapped from prison, not that she escaped and kidnapped a guard/janitor/whateverthehecktheythinkJasonis?
The workings of the minds of people in the Walkyverse, I frigging swear.
