Hmm. Sarah’s 21. Joe might be, if the parts of him based on my childhood friend include having an early birthday. Danny should be beaten up by Amazi-Girl. Billie is the new Danny.
Judging is the little-death that brings total unhappiness.
I will face my judging.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the judging has gone there will be nothing….only I will remain
One of the only things I dislike about DoA is that because the characters won’t grow up (or at least, grow up really slowly), we won’t actually get to see them have legal drinks together. It will be forever just out of their reach.
Gonna have to be the US. There used to be variable drinking ages between states, but the Feds “encouraged” everyone to standardize on 21 by taking away federal highway money from any state that refused to comply. My home state (which used to be 18) sued them over that, and lost.
Though given the rate of timeflow in the Dumbiverse, it’s actually pretty plausible that they might be able to legally drink because twenty years down the road the U.S. lowers minimum drinking age before they’re able to legally drink because they turned 21.
I kinda get the sense that Willis had moved on from seeing beer as some kind unfathomable sin-fueled poison by this point. People are drinking beer without causing death and mayhem.
Though Danny still can’t because when the last time you drank ended in death and mayhem and it occurred in the same exact house, it’s probably not a good idea to tempt fate.
Danny’s a kitty!
Billie is the new Danny? So we should irrationally hate her based entirely on what she did in a past universe?
That sounds about right.
Hey, I irrationally hate each Danny based entirely on things they did in their own respective universes.
Yeah. Danny never fails to give people a reason to hate him, no matter the universe.
Isn’t that RATIONAL hate, though?
Hate is never rational.
I will not judge. Judge is the joy-killer.

Poor Danny he will never win no matter what he does, the chat has decided.

Unless US (or Indiana) decides to bring its drinking age limit on par with the civilized world. Wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for that though.

Also he is still underaged judging by the caption.
