Looks like I gotta also tag Wen, huh. Lotsa folks getting tagged in this storyline here for the first and last time.
WEN DIEZ
…
NUTS
I’d say JFC Robin, but I’m sure this is par for the course for her IIRC, almost nobody there battin’ an eye
It’s cringe, sure. But I’m betting Mike wouldn’t have it any other way.
If she acts cold and aloof, is she WEN DIEZ Frosty?
So close, yet so far, from Vin Diesel.
The perfect person to pair with Faz Oh Lee.
Good gods I hope Wen never turned out to be (yet another) half-sibling of Faz
I mean none of his other half-siblings had that smug grin, and nor did Blaine, so that ironically might be a good indicator that Faz and Wen aren’t related and they just have similar personalities that really clicked.
Or they’re half-siblings related through their mother, and fully aware of that fact.

The fact that he burned his full-size Amber bodypillow when he found out they’re related suggests otherwise.
I feel like the implication in her introductory strip where Amber was clearly weirded out but not touching it was ‘deliberately ambiguous, don’t poke it and you don’t have to think about it.’
That whole week of Nooooo is still the funniest shit to me.
And I see that she still hasn’t opened her eyes.
oh my god, i somehow never realized that “Wen” is derived from Wendy’s, that’s amazing
Ah Robin. A moment of subtly and nuance, so evanescent.
It’s buried under a load of smirk, but I think Faz actually seems genuinely happy for Amber here.
Yeah, somehow his grin being not quite so…“pointy”, for lack of a better expression, really does make it look more sincere.
Malaya, meanwhile is all “Why is this happening at all, and especially why am I a part of it?” as you’d expect.
I love this strip. Just the right blend of Robin being silly and Robin being sincere. Also, I love the ‘This was more of a, y’know, LIVING death’ line. Not sure why it sticks out to me so much.
That description pretty accurately fits working in retail.
I wonder where Ninja Rick is in DoA.
He’s in every strip. You just can’t see him because he’s, y’know, a ninja.
