Ethan is Willis’s age. No doubt he’s in college somewhere in California, unless I’m misremembering and he moved to San Fransisco later in life, or didn’t go to college.

David Willis didn’t become a good character until the 2000 reboot of his series. It was a smart choice to have Maggie as a love interest for him. Really pulled the story together.
