Dork
on December 9, 2013 at 12:01 amChapter: Billie and Danny
Characters: Danny Wilcox, Jennifer Billingsworth
Location: Danny and Joe's dorm room
Sure, hit a character with a truck, but censor the word “ass.”
can you tell i’m a fan of the tsundere
At least you’re using the ampersand-dollar sign-dollar sign configuration that lets the intent get through.
For the love of booze, just kick him in the balls, Billie.
Pretty sure that would just turn both of ’em on…once Danny gets past the unholy blinding pain, at least.
SPOILER WARNING TO THOSE WHO HAVEN’T ALREADY READ THE ORIGINAL ROOMIES/IT’S WALKY/JOYCE AND WALKY ARCHIVE:
Probably how their second kid ended up happening!

That explains everything, really.
I was about to ask if the paper imposed that restriction, until I remembered this was after you left it.
I actually was planning on asking how the paper let the whole ‘character dieing horribly’ thing go through, but the revelation of it not being in the paper silenced me there.
When I first started the comic, I tried to assure them that I wouldn’t use any naughty words, but they were all like “whatevs, ffffft.”
It was all me.
Tsunderes are awesome.
Amen to that.
I’m actually starting to like Danny.
How is that possible?
He’s an asshole, but now he’s doing it in a confident and self-assured way. Confidence and self-assurance are likeable traits. In other words, he’s kind of a proto-Mike.
Gross.
I’m… not seeing how this is an improvement. Going from “Boring, wimpy judgemental creep” to “aggressive, assertive general creep” doesn’t seem good.
Really? How does it feel?
Like the universe has flipped upside down.
I like Billie just enough to regret she’ll end up with Danny.
it’s amazing how much difference a lack of self-justification can do for a caracters likeability 😀
Censorship? I thought it was leetspeak.
That would have been ‘455’, not ‘@$$’.
I watched Akira on TV the other night. We got two “shits”, half a guy’s face getting shot off, and all sorts of serious body horror, but a scene where a girl has her shirt ripped off got shirt-shrapnel edited in to obscure her nipples.
Censorship is weird.
The misanthropic pessimist in me says violence is the only good form of first-world population control is why =/
Although it’s bizarre how natural things like breast-feeding is considered more obscene than graphic violence.
Which one’s the Tsundere?
Ah, a tsundere fan. Then we cannot be friends.
… Wait, are these two going to hook up?

First time through these archives and I’m already getting the feeling that I’m going to dislike this pairing. This can’t be more than, what, a week or two after Ruth’s death? Billie moving on from her lover’s death is one thing, but Billie moving on to the guy who got her killed just seems… wrong, somehow. Maybe it’s partially the fact that I liked them so much as a couple in Dumbing of Age talking, combined with me still not being over recent events in that continuity. I guess I’ll have to see what I think in the long run, but for now I get bad vibes from this.
