“Dad, how do you pick up all these chicks?” “Well, I don’t chase them down the street making suckle noises.”
I’m confused. Is it Mr. Rosenthal talking in the last panel or the cheerleader’s ass?
Oooh, one of the hard questions…
So, will Joe challenge his father for the right to place himself twixt the nethers of that cheerleader?
For something done so early on, I’m surprised Willis would allow for the freaky threesome that will surely occur.
Yeah…no.
Guess it runs in the family.
No wonder Joe decided to grow his own manly rugged beard. So he can compete with his old man for the ladies.
A lot about Joe’s outlook on life makes more sense knowing his dad was like this.
…suddenly later strips make sense. [/nospoiler]
well, good thing to find out now and not at the family reunion.
Or during Hannukah. Whichever comes first.
awkwardness ensues
well. that explains a lot.
The best part of these early strips is watching Willis snark his much younger self.
….I can legitimately remember the day Dad said he’d have to start breaking the rule about not dating anyone younger than me.
I was twenty three when he died, so, uh.
Yeah.
This isn’t meant to pass judgement on him! He was a legitimately good man, and I don’t care if he liked his girls in their twenties.
I just mean to say that I *get this level of awkward*
