C’mon, Walky. If you’re going to be ruthless and self-serving, own it. Enough of this “trying to be a good person” schtick, just embrace pragmatism. Or, y’know, actually be a good person.
If you want people to believe you didn’t mean for someone to get shot with a weapon (mindwipe or otherwise), maybe don’t say things like “hold that pose” to the person about to be shot?
Plus like I said yesterday, look at that expression in the final panel–that is the face of someone who means to let that happen, and is even going to take a dark satisfaction in it.

…which old SNL character used to say “How conveeeeeeeenient?”
Could it be…. SATAN?!
(Actually, no, it was the Church Lady) 😀
Same entity.
Hey now, be fair, he did give Tony a warning!
It wasn’t a very good warning, but it was still technically a warning!
and suddenly, Mike was extremely jealous of Hooks. 😛
Hooks actually looks more pissed off than Mike here, and Mike almost always is frowning.
fair point! at least Mike isn’t smiling
You know you’ve fucked up when Mike is judging you.
He’s like: “Not even I am such an asshole”

Yeah, I can’t see any indication that Walky DIDN’T intend for that to happen.
I can – he might have been about to hit Tony into one or more Britjas, taking care of two problems at once (albeit only temporarily).
I don’t for a minute believe this is the case, but it could be…
“No, seriously, it’s just a plot-convenient coincidence! Honest!”
Isn’t this supposed to be the comic about NOT being drunk and depressed?
