Look at all these sweet comics you’re missing out on in Dumbing of Age since Howard’s too young to be a regularly-appearing character there.
(sometimes i do wonder if i shoulda made him a freshman, just to have another dude around)
Can he take a course or two? In high school, some of my classmates qualified to take courses at the college.
(granted, our high school was part of said college…)
also, dat “I’ll not do something you already don’t want me to be doing”-as-bribe
“already can’t do regardless because his eyes are dilated anyway”.
There could be a storyline where Ruth attempts to gain possession of Howard to get him away from their grandfather.
Willis has definitely hinted at too much to not have *something* in mind.
Didn’t Howard use to consider sneaking out of a window rather than study? Our little Howards growing up.
Danny pointed out if he flunks out he’ll have to spend another year living with Joe.
“Best buddies ever.”
On one hand that adds another facet of tragedy to Ruth’s downward spiral as her brother eventually gets dragged into it. It’s sad now, the thought of one day getting a phone call from IU that his sister was found dead in her room, but him being there to helplessly witness it?
On the other hand, it means more Howard.
So does Howard just need to suffer in every universes?
He needs to suffer and to have no one to care about it. That’s a bit hard when he’s in the same area (and state of mortal coil) as Ruth.
I’m kinda disappointed Howard never went full supervillian. It would be kinda hilarious if he ended up being one of SEMMES most dangerous enemies.
“YOU LET MY SISTER DIE!”
He would probably end up pulling a heel face turn at some point, perhaps involving a short meeting with Ruth in the afterlife
The best line of dialogue in the entirety of It’s Walky! was when Danny says to Howard “your parents are scary enough without me actively ticking them off.”
Can’t possibly imagine why, Danny.
…Wow, that would have been awesome. Woulda fit in pretty well with the lategame themes of the ignored people striking back, too..
I actually liked Howard in DoA. He had a bit of an edge to him.
Game of Thrones!
Having Howard at college in DoA would have radically altered some of Ruth’s arc, considering how scared she is that her grandfather will hurt him over her actions. He’d basically have nothing to hold over her. Something to look forward to in ten years’ time when we get to Season 3, I guess!
