Before the little guy is born
on October 19, 2021 at 12:01 amChapter: It's Pregnancy!
Characters: David Walkerton, Joyce Brown
Location: Joyce and Walky's apartment
We have yet to start making our bed.
The drawing of the kitchen area here is taken directly from the layout of the apartment we were living in at the time, in likely contradiction to the layout presented earlier in Joyce and Walky!, which was based on the apartment we were living in at THAT time. Either they moved, or actually we don’t care if their kitchen is shaped different.
Maybe they remodeled…?
No, wait, you were right the first time. I don’t care if it’s shaped differently. THe visual joke remains the same.
It’s funny that we just came from a “come clean my house” party, and that apartment shot is the “after” pic =p
The original kitchen got so overrun with garbage they abandoned it and started a new kitchen elsewhere in the apartment.
This week on Hoarders…
Consequences of time travel include random changes to architecture.
Making the bed is overrated.
I am starting to think that I am less messy than I think I am.
If you don’t make your bed daily, the sheets are all off-kilter. How can you sleep like that?
Well, why would she, when she already has a perfectly good one?
I mean, I’m not raising ANOTHER slob.
Aw come on, that’s only 5 minutes worth of cleaning! Just take the trash out and you’re 80% of the way there.
I was gonna say, if it’s trying to show a horrendously messy kitchen it’s, well, not really. There’s no rubbish on the floor. None of the cupboards are open. That bin should be overflowing with another refuse bag also overflowing next to it. Try harder to be messy, guys!
It’s like when we visit my uncle and aunt and they’re like “Sorry about the mess, we didn’t have time to tidy up”, and we think “Dear God, what do they make of our place even when we have tidied?”
I thought I had pretty lax housekeeping standards… I’ll vacuum on occasion and I’ve got junk everywhere, but the trash goes out regularly and the dishes stay in the kitchen.
I, meanwhile, was like “wow, what a filthy looking kitchen – I wouldn’t want to eat food made there”
I tend to be a bit of a messy person, but I also keep the kitchen pristine. Not doing so leads to ants.
I can’t relate to this, since I’ve always been a bit of a neat freak. The most slobbish I’ve been is not dusting as often as I probably should.
“Your parents did, and you turned out all r-… all… Okay, you have a point, let’s tidy up.”
“HEY!”
