The sword guy? All the scenes have the whip guy.
It’s a good scene. This works well, too, after a whole universe of people not bothering to do stuff like it…except then I guess Joe should ideally just shoot Head Alien, too.
The other great thing about Joe in this universe is that… honestly, there’s not really much you can throw at him to mindgame him, because he mostly owns all his flaws.
Well, that’s one way to deal with this problem.

His kryptonite has always really been Joyce.
Okay, it looks like Anti-Joyce is cheering/dancing in the first panel and it is making me laugh.
Also, was this meant to be a Raiders reference? (of the Lost Ark, not Oakland)
Looked like Dina at first.
I’m guessing Head Alien didn’t expect Joe to just shoot Anti-Joyce.
And just like that she’s gone, like an angel’s kiss
Joe’s always been…. pretty straight-forward.
Only problem with this strip is the Head Alien is *right there* and Joe didn’t keep shooting.

Bringing him into custody means he can’t resurrect elsewhere.
Doesn’t mean the clone won’t have a goal.
Joe doing the logical thing. 😀
I like the idea of AU Joe filling the same role as DoA Carla- not putting up with anyone’s drama or mindgames and just cutting the damn Gordian Knot.
The next thing he should do is shoot Head Alien.
Joe don’t have time for this
