Back to college! Woo!
on April 3, 2014 at 12:01 amChapter: Back to School. Again
Characters: Danny Wilcox, Joe Rosenthal
Location: Danny and Joe's dorm room
And so Danny and Joe’s junior year begins! Just a few months left until we’re in It’s Walky!, folks.
Also I turn 35 today. I am not sure why this is how my brain works, but when I realize Joe and Danny are juniors in college, I’m like “oh god they’re so old now” but when I think about how I’m 35, I’m all like “ehh.”
35?? You dang whipper-snapper!
*also 35*
LOL, you old fogies! Enjoy your pensions, geezers!
*also 35*
*shakes his fist at all of you* You kids get off my bloody lawn.
*not quite also 35*
Sigh. “Hearts full of youth, hearts full of truth…”
*On the 35 bus*
One step in and he already Dans it up.
I can’t even tell if this is a punchline or not.
*checks calendar* So uh… How many updates until It’s Walky!?
This was the September 11 1999 update.
It’s Walky! began on December 25 1999.
A comic every day makes 105 days straight until It’s Walky!.
Except 4 days were skipped in that time.
And the 4 last days before It’s Walky! Are the Joe-yce storyline about art that’s already been covered.
That means we’ll start It’s Walky! in 97 days, on July 9.
I’m also kind of that way, when I read the Last Roomies Story Ever I immediately assumed everyone was meant to be in their forties. No clue why.
Well, they’re about 35, so you aren’t far off.
When the 30s sneak up and crack ya in the back of the head to get your attention, you have to think ….darn! Now what?
Oh well, fun getting there. More fun on the way to 40, if lucky.
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday, Willis.
Soon, I’ll join the 30s club. A couple months from now.
A few months to go, and I’ll be the big 40. So, you’re still young, ’cause I’m still young. That’s how it works.
I cannot (at 56) be the Oldest Living Walkyverse Fan… can I?!
(Feeling decrepit)
Happy birthday Willis
May the passing of years never diminish your awesomeness.
So what if you think about the Roomies! kids being 35? I turn 40 this year, and am kind of, eh, whatevs, but thinking about Joyce being 35 weirds me out.
Happy birthday! 😀 I’m also 35. W00t, thirty-somethings, represent!
I turned thirty two weeks ago. Does that count? Just thirty, not thiry-something, yet, though.
Just change the punctuation around and claim that you turned thirty-two weeks ago (which is how I initially read it anyway).
I feel like after college, age is related to how you feel and not your exact number. So usually I feel like a general young adult, though sometimes I feel really old when I think about how my baby sister is starting college next fall!
And happy birthday! I hope you have a great day!
I know the feeling, I still feel like I am 30, even though I have kids who are closer to that age than I am.
Happy Happy Birthday!
The first September after I graduated was really weird for me. I kept thinking I should be living in a shoebox and studying my ass off.
I’m 15 forever!
Happy 35th birthday super late. Your comics are awesome. 😀
