Are we all suited up to go?
on July 18, 2018 at 12:01 amAnd here are Jason and Sal’s final looks for the duration of the series! You can see a bit of Sal’s standard Dumbing of Age motorcycle outfit here, with the striped section going up the inside of the armpit and down the pants. And, of course, a continuation of the gloves that she adopted halfway through It’s Walky!, but would keep essentially forever.
Meanwhile, Jason adopts a trenchcoat and continues to drop his bowtie in favor of turtleneck. Unlike Sal’s evolution, that didn’t stick, and I went back to the bowties again in Dumbing of Age.
To the left is another limited print featuring her various looks through the years, titled “The Many Faces of Sal.”
“The tactical turtleneck, Lana. The…tactleneck.”
Where’s the poofy hair?
Jason really looks cool with that trenchcoat, much better than his James Bond suit.
Jason got his bowtie back before DOA, he had it when he showed up in Shortpacked iirc
What about getting into the General Lee? …dramatically
Complete with hood-slide, of course.
Sal doesn’t consider an entrance dramatic unless she crashes through a window, so…
I’m not even going to get into the midriff, but those seem like some pretty low-riding pants for combat.
those’re my business casual work pants, welcome to buying women’s clothing
That is a pretty good look for both of them, though I also think Jason just looks weird without a bowtie.
Sal is the laziest at being dramatic. You can get into a car dramatically if you actually TRY!
Granted, it’s harder with a non-convertible sedan than it is with a coup, convertible, or convertible coup, but you can still do it.
As long as there’s windows to crash through, I’m sure she’d be willing to give it a try. 😀
I am confused. What is a convertible coup (I assume you mean coupe)
Loooove getting into this art style. So sketch-y but still so converging on Shortpacked! and DoA!, such a nice loose balance!
o woops, no ! in the doa name, my bad!
It’s all in the delivery Jason. If you’d listened to Sal and hired a soft-top, you could have dramatically jumped down into the seats from above, with her hair and your coat swirling around you like superhero capes.
It’s all in the mindset. 😉
Damn, getting risqué with that hint of pelvis! #futurepornlord
To be fair, by the time DA came out bow ties were actually a fashion decision people to young to collect on their social security voluntarily made (when not at a wedding).
