When everything went white
on November 8, 2017 at 12:01 amOh, right, I guess Mary’s dad is a doctor. (And that’s why Sal came running to her.) I’d forgotten that detail.
I suppose I’ll tuck that away in my brain for Dumbiverse Mary, if it ever comes up.
Yes, because when the apocalypse literally happens my first thought is also “I bet that girl I went to Sunday school with had something to do with it.”
Mary takes being judgmental to absurd levels. That’s what we all love(?????) her for.
Yeah, but she’s not wrong, so…
That is an impressive amount of narrative convenience.
“When everything went white” sounds like a great euphemism for the rise of the Alt-Reich
But maybe Sal is only assuming Mary’s father is a medical doctor, and she wants to show off her husband too much to correct her. Then her dad could be anything you want: a PhD in entomology, a doctor of theology, Dr. Doom, the Doctor.
The Doctor would never mess up a child that badly.
Leave for groceries and come back 10 years later, but not that.
Yep. Jenny was alright, and whoever is Susan’s parent was probably nice too.
“Jenny was alright”?
The kid had to be lectured at length to accept that all interpersonal problems shouldn’t be solved with suppressing fire followed by a hand grenade.
That wasn’t her dad’s fault, though. She was programmed that way from birth.
It’s. The Doctor, he’d leave for groceries and come back 10 years earlier.
Now I really want Mary’s husband to be Dr. Doom. It seems so… apt.
Mary is probably the last person you should go to if you need someone you can trust.
*anything apocalyptic happens in Walkyverse ever*
Amber – This is Robin’s fault, isn’t it?
Sarah – This is Joyce’s fault, isn’t it?
Mary – This is Sal’s fault, isn’t it?
The sad thing is one of them is usually right.
Jason – This is Walkerton’s fault, isn’t it?
wait what mary when did you get MARRIED, weren’t you still having scandalous premarital sex with some bozo and trying to get danny to date you?
Oh wait right, time passed. Walkyverse moves much faster than DoA huh
“You can trust me”
~Mary
…Yeah, no.
