Whatd’ya wanna bet that these reruns have all been part of a long game going back to 2012 designed to compile the original continuity (sans Shortpacked) in one convenient reading order as the backstory for It’s Soggies?
…this is actually the first confirmation we’ve had since Walky’s apparent death that he survived, isn’t it? Like, nobody in the last two comics seemed very concerned about him, so I kinda assumed that was the case, but still. Good to know for sure.
Can’t help but wonder how the rest of Jason’s team is doing, though. As well as what happened to Monkey Master, Machete, and the army of Future Kids. Presumably all will be explained…
That can’t be it right? I thought there was going to be some major battle throughout the Multiverse or something and there still was that Dorothy thing waiting on the back burner.
I’ve never read this arc before either, but based on the number of plot threads left hanging and other peoples’ vague hinting, I’m pretty sure there’s more to come soon.
