You know, SEMME could perhaps afford to get some higher-res monitors up in that shizz.
If they could afford better monitors, surely they could afford staff that didn’t have to be
abductedENLISTEDtheir monitors are fine. they just live in a 2-bit world =3
If the monitor is in Big Boss’s office, then the computer connected to the satellite is probably elsewhere. Given that it’s 2001, it may well be the equivalent of a dial-up connection. In which case, it looks phenomenal for real-time.
I’d like to think it’s not a monitor at all, but a low rez cut out of a map that Big Boss printed out on his 10dpi inkjet printer and hung on the wall.
Ooooh, this is the one with the THAT PART and the THAT PERSON isn’t it?
I forgot THAT THING happened so early on, comparatively.
(Then again this should not surprise me. Good old deficiency-induced brain haze in which I read it the first time!)
I get the feeling someone important is going to die .
Not unlikely, I would say. I mean, Hooper just got squished like a grape by Monkey Master. I’m still recovering from that.
Hey, it’s not the monitor’s fault if the connection is bad.
If I had to guess I’d say they cheaped out on the spy satellite camera
I just can’t get used to ear-less Sal.
That lettering is getting dangerously wobbly in the first panel!
Big Boss knows Kung Fu, right? Like the song?
Is he fast as lightning with expert timing?
“…and the other person being your Mom. No, that’s not a your-momma joke, I’m literally talking about your mother. Seriously.”
Apparently SEMME believes in having incompetent agents under incompetent leadership.
Not that that’s surprising, though – I’m pretty sure the TSA runs under the same principle.
Speaking of ‘jerking off motions’, that’s what’s going on in that pixelated TV screen, right?
