(sorry, the site’s PHP went wonky and had to be downgraded, since it’s working on an uncommon plugin, which meant for a few whiles i couldn’t upload new strips, etc)
Nowadays many shared webhosts don’t offer FTP access by default. Gotta email them and ask. Plus it’s clearly more than just uploading of files, I’m guessing it borked the publishing itself.
RE: Borked the publishing – Yeah, I figured that much, but with direct FTP access, if you see that it’s not publishing for whatever reason, you can just generate the needed PHP output files manually on your own text editor for a few days, until the situation is resolved. At least, that’s what I used to do.
BUT . . . yeah, didn’t know FTP access wasn’t just standard practice anymore. I mean, I figured for someone who’s been such a long-standing presence online, doing webcomics for 20 years, thought Willis would have FTP regardless, but if that’s not the case . . . yeah, would be a more complicated problem. :/
Lest it come across that way, not judging or anything at all, just surprised. *chuckle*
As much as Joyce and Sarah’s antagonistic relationship in this ‘verse always makes me really sad, I do love her just putting a stop to everyone’s bull here.
Oh thank the gods!
Glad to see things working again!
Kinda looks like Sal and Joyce are getting ready for some hanky-panky in Panel 2 there.
Just me?
Prudes.
Oh good, it’s back.
. . . How does the PHP not working affect your ability to upload strips? Do you not have direct FTP access to your server space?

I wonder if this is related to the problems Dahak’s Orbit had this weekend.
Just had to ruin their fun, Sarah,
*checks how panel 2 works* ON WITH THE SHOW
In any universe, Sarah has no time for your shit.
