Ah promised Ah’d keep his story a secret
on February 1, 2016 at 12:01 amChapter: Soulmate
Characters: Sal Walters
Location: Island in the Bermuda Triangle #3, Washington D.C.
Actually, I’m fairly certain Linda knows Tony’s secret.
Not that Sal would suspect that Linda would know Tony’s secret, but it’s not like she can read ahead.
You are actually kind of a horrible person, Sal.
???????
Unless his secret was “I committed murder and will do it again because I love it”, I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t something deserving of death.
what if he [REDACTED] a [REDACTED]
SHE DID IT FOR THE [REDACTED]S
I’ve thought that Sal was maybe just really drama addicted, like how she kept trying to nobly sacrifice herself when Monkey Master attacked SEMME when there was a million viable strategies she could take.
Watching your parents explode and dating Danny can’t be good for your health.
Better than watching your parents explode while they’re dating Danny.
I’m pretty sure when Sal said she “had to kill him”, she meant that she “knew” that if Tony ever returned to normal, he would be devastated that the Head Alien once again brainwashed him to murder his loved ones.
Yeah, I’m pretty sure this is supposed to be an “I knew he would have wanted me to do what I did” moment, not a “he actually deserved to die” moment.
huh. i actually forgot about this bit. i read all of these comics, and i actually blanked on what tony’s secret was. not sure whether sal is over-stating it or not, but there’s no arguing that they’ve all been through some pretty awful stuff.
still, “inconceivable”…i do not think it means what she thinks it means
“You keep using that word.”
She had to kill Tony because he had more angst than her – and that’s simply unacceptable.
“THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!”
“He liked butt stuff.”
“and he refused to reciprocate!”
I hadn’t realized that was her motivation. Way to deepen the plot, Willis.
Missed out on It’s Walky the the first time and this is me catching up on the older stuff (found the place via Shortparked after Linkra gave Willis a shout out). I have tae say that I do like Sal’s character. I think she is both pragmatic and compassionate. She does the hard things so others won’t. Becomes the monster to keep others safe.
In addition to her DoA self, I love this Sal as well.
Wait, so she had a real and proper reason to kill him? Did he legit do something awful?
