Walky should really be flipped left to right in that first panel to preserve continuity of motion. Going from action-left to action-centered to action-right is neatly symmetrical, but kinda scattered, composition-wise.

This sequence takes forever. Why, exactly, does it take three strips for Walky to pull away in his pickup? For better pacing, it shoulda been one.
Surprise! This was written in the middle of my parents’ divorce. At the time, I was pleased that it reined back its anger to be more introspective. Now, it feels a little victim blamey.
Clearly Mike has not actually been drinking alcohol. But you’d have to know future stuff to discern why. In the meantime, I think he needs a punch in the face.
