Going through these fifteen-year-old stories, sometimes amidst all the Awkward, I find story elements that I still really like.  And maybe they’re handled okayish, maybe they’re not, but this part here, where it’s suggested that Anti-Joyce is a realer Joyce than Joyce because she not only embraces the full spectrum of Joyce’s thoughts but also has all the memories Joyce purged…  I still really like that.  I’d forgotten about it, and it surprised me here.  It’s a good point of conflict.  And a great final twist of the knife from this story’s antagonist.
